Penang Color Festival 8.0 is the eighth edition of this colour powder party, held on the mainland this time at the car park of the stadium in Batu Kawan on Saturday 28 November 2026. Things get going at 5pm, so it is a late-afternoon and evening event rather than a morning run.
Tickets are sold through Great Ticket Malaysia by the organiser, Key Global Network Sdn Bhd, which lists the event under concerts. At the time of writing only the super early bird ticket is on sale, at RM39. It includes entry and three packs of colour powder. The page does not yet list later ticket tiers, the end time, any age rules or the performers and DJs, so we have marked those as still to be confirmed.
If you are going, wear clothes and shoes you do not mind ruining, bring sunglasses or goggles to keep powder out of your eyes, and put your phone in a zip bag. A small towel and a change of clothes for the drive home are a good idea too. Batu Kawan is easy to reach from the island via the Second Penang Bridge, and from Bukit Mertajam and Simpang Ampat by road.
Early bird prices on events like this tend to sell out, so check the ticket page soon if you want the RM39 rate.
