Juru Run 2026 is a community road run in the village of Perkampungan Juru, Seberang Perai, on Sunday 29 November 2026. It is organised by Yayasan Muhibah Tan Sri Fng Ah Seng together with the Jit Sin Bukit Mertajam alumni association, and starts and finishes at the Dewan Serbaguna Perkampungan Juru multi-purpose hall.
There are two distances. The 8km competitive race (RM75) has Men and Women Open categories for ages 13 and above and Veteran categories for 45 and above, with cash prizes. The 5km fun run costs RM55 for the open category, RM45 for students aged 7 and above, or RM125 for a family team of three, which makes it an easy weekend outing for mainland families. Every runner gets a medal and T-shirt.
Runners are asked to arrive from 6am; the 8km flags off at 6.45am and the 5km at 7am. Race kits are collected on Saturday 28 November from 9.30am to 5pm, at the same hall according to the organiser (marked as still to be confirmed).
One thing to check: the registration page gives two different closing dates, 1 November in the description and 8 November in the event details, and also says entries close once slots are filled. If you want to take part, check the page as soon as possible or contact the organiser.
